Brand NEW Workshop – Book Cushion with a Zipped Back – a great gift to make for the little ones. 

You will learn all about making a cushion with a zipped back and binding on the edge with the added bonus of the pocket for the book to go into.  You can theme your cushion fabrics to the theme of the book – or stay completely neutral.  You can add an appliques name too.

These make such usable gifts, which the young ones can lean on whilst reading their book.

Scrap Buster Zipped Pouch with Tina Finbow

Back by Popular Demand – A fun workshop – you can use your scraps of fabric – or if you prefer you can pick your own colourway to work with.

During the day you will create your own piece of quilted fabric which you will then make into a Zipped Pouch – with a really easy method of putting a zip in.

You will need either a ¼” foot, an open toe foot or your walking foot, rotary cutter, ruler and cutting mat on the day, with a little bit of easy prepping before the day to ensure you get your zipped pouch finish during the workshop.

Free Motion Quilting for Beginners with Lynne Pretty

Lynne Pretty is back with us teaching Free Motion Quilting.  It’s a technique that we are often asked about, so this is ideal for Beginners.  A great workshop to learn the basics and build your skill and confidence.

You will need a Free Motion/Darning/Embroidery foot for your sewing machine to do this workshop.

Pick ‘n’ Mix Quilt Top with Tina Finbow

Due to the popularity of this workshop – here is a NEW date.

An Ideal Quilt for Confident Beginners, as well as the Experienced Quilters. On the course you will make the quilt top, 

You can work with a jelly roll or cut the strips to work with. Pre-cutting would be advisable so that you can achieve more on the day.  Information on cutting will be given with the requirements list.

The sample quilt is in the cabin, if you would like to have a look at it.

Beginners Sampler Quilt with Tina Finbow

Back by popular demand – the Beginners Sampler Course is a great opportunity to learn lots of new techniques whilst making a good size Sampler Quilt.  It is based on a Quilt as You Go method – making it more manageable.

The course is over 12 Sessions, which are all on Saturday’s, from October 2026 through to the end of May 2027, and is ideal for a Confident Beginner.

This course is based over 12 sessions:-

Week 3 – Saturday 14^th November 2026

Week 5 – Saturday 9^th January 2027
