We are really pleased to announce that Sarah will be teaching here at the cabin. Sarah is a member of the International Feltmakers Association and has been Felting for almost 4 years. During this half day workshop you will make a cute little curly sheep, and you will be using beautiful Leicester Longwool locks. There is no sewing or gluing involved. Your sheep will be made with 100% wool using barbed needles.Find out more »

Following a very successful weekend of Beginners Workshops with Angela at the beginning of February, we are really pleased to announce that Angela will be with us again at the end of June, with another Beginners Workshop. If you haven’t seen Westalee Rulers before, then do have a look at her Facebook page. They are totally amazing and enable you to free motion quilt your own quilts. To do this workshop you will need the special free motion foot for rulers for your own sewing machine (this is not your traditional free motion foot!) plus the Beginners 12” Arc Ruler and the spacing gauge.Find out more »

Get started early for Christmas and make this gorgeous wall or door hanging. The original is on display in the cabin. The course is over 4 sessions and the dates are Saturday 13th October, Saturday 27th October, Saturday 10th November and Saturday 1st December, which gives you chance to complete the it ready to hang up for Christmas (Sorry, it’s a bit early to be mentioning Christmas!). Lots of lovely techniques including needle turned applique make this a stunning piece of work.Find out more »

We are unable to refund any workshop fees unless cancellation is made
3 weeks before the class and then we can only refund 50% of the fee.
Once you have enrolled you will be sent a requirement list.
All Saturday workshops are from 10am to 4pm. Unless otherwise stated
The Cosy Cabin will be open from 9.30am on the day of the workshop so you can select and purchase your fabrics with the assistance of the tutor (if required).
We now have Sewing Machines that are available to hire for Workshops at £5.00 per day – please ask us for more details.
